• Egg arepa (fried corn dough with a fried egg inside)

• Fritanga - Ouch! Fried heaven. Everything from fried yucca cheese fingers (mandioca), to pig feet, skin and intestines (chimichurria, chicharron)
• Ceviche is very popular in Colombia - both raw fish with citrus, as well as a cooked version.
• Fried plantain (platanitos) - heaven! It is often served with red snapper, coconut rice and tajadas (a popular lunch in Cartagena).
